The synthwave scene has always thrived on connections across borders, and on Saturday 25th of October 2025 marks a historic moment for Helsinki Synth City as we expand our reach into the heart of Europe. For the first time, our collective’s artists cross the international waters to collaborate with our German counterparts, Neon Paradise, at the legendary Blue Shell club in Cologne.
Helsinki Synth City is an artist collective of independent and likeminded artists bringing the best events and music inside the synthwave umbrella Neo Helsinki, and Neon Paradise has been doing the same in Cologne with their Synthwave, Darksynth, Cyberpunk, and Italo Disco events . This collaboration represents more than just a one-off show—it’s the beginning of a bridge between the Nordic and German synthwave communities.
The lineup brings together the best of both scenes: our very own artists Ace Buchannon, Millennium Falck, DJ BRU and Levinsky will share the stage alongside Neon Paradise’s resident DJs. Blue Shell has been a legendary music club since 1979, known for live music, subculture and creative diversity. The perfect venue to showcase the strength of the international synthwave community.
This is what Helsinki Synth City has always been about: creating opportunities for independent artists to grow beyond their home turf while maintaining the uncompromising vision and quality that defines our collective. From our compilations to our festivals, we’ve built a reputation for supporting artists who push boundaries while staying true to the genre’s roots.
